LOCATION

KURRAJONG
HEIGHTS

The cottage is located in the picturesque mountain village of Kurrajong Heights, a small town in the Hawkesbury region of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales. Just a stone's throw from Sydney and a mere 10 minutes from Bilpin, it offers an ideal escape.

Kurrajong is a lush haven tucked away amongst rolling green hills, breathtaking panoramic views and the enchanting sound of bellbirds.

The name "Kurrajong" means "shade tree" in Aboriginal language. The Kurrajong tree was traditionally used by the Koori people as a food source, while its tough fibres were crafted into ropes, twine, fishing lines & nets. In early colonial days, the seeds were also roasted as a coffee substitute.
